If you're person grew up in the 1970s, it was virtually impossible that they did not play with, or own a Fisher Price Little People Airplane, School, Barn or evey the Fisher Price Little People Airport. And who can possibly forget the black and white bulldog?

These were the perfect playmate for a kid growing up in the 70s. A simple wooden peg design with a cute little head on top. The bodies later of course became plastic, but nonetheless, these Little People were rugged and cool and every kid had at least one set. Oh, let’s not forget the Fisher Price Little People School Bus...anyhow they were cute, cool to play with and a-d-o-r-a-b-le!

Which brings us to the next cool line of toys from Funko, Dorbz - obviously a shortened and stylized way of saying Dorbz.

Like the original Funko Pop! Vinyl collectibles, Dorbz did really strike the right chord with collectors. But gradually through some minor design changes, these little guys that were a play on a 70s classic started gaining momentum and has slowly become a hit with collectors. The piece that put Dorbz on the map? The Toy Tokyo Exclusive Dorbz Batmobile Ridez from the original 60s show with the little peg Batman Dorbz figure.

Now, many of the Funko licenses have made it’s way over to the Dorbz family with Marvel and DC superheroes, and TV favorites such as The Walking Dead, and Game of Thrones. Also movie favorites have made their little crossover as Dorbz ranging from classics such as Ghostbusters and Harry Potter, and blockbusters such as Batman v Superman.

Born in the 70s as a childhood classic and favorite, Dorbz takes back people of all ages to simpler times with a 21st century twist!
