This is a pretty big guy as far as tin toys are concerned at 12 inches tall. This ain't you grandpa's tin robot, nope. Not wind up, he's battery powered.
The character was created in 1963 by Kazumasa Hirai and manga artist Jiro Kuwata. It's basically the inspiration probably for Robocop. The main character Detective Yokoda is murdered by criminals. But the body is retrieved by Professor Tani and taken to his laboratory where Detective Yakoda's life force is transferred into an android body. And so goes the story.
