ToyTokyo Ordering Information:

Due to the fact that ToyTokyo Online shares much of its inventory with our retail stores, we do not have real time inventory at this time. However, most items are in stock and ready to ship, and we are working day and night to improve our warehouse inventory situation.

Orders begin to be processed as soon as we receive them. Most orders are processed the same day they are placed, but in some circumstances we may need to acquire the stock from one of our retail stores, in which case the customer will be notified of the delay. If any items are sold out, the customer will be notified and asked for confirmation on the remainder of the shipment. These orders will not be shipped until we receive confirmation from the customer.

International Shipping/Express Shipments:

Our providers of international shipping (Fed Ex and the U.S. Postal Service) require us to calculate the lowest possible shipping costs according to size and weight of the packages. This process is most accurately completed after an order is placed, and so the initial shipping quote for international shipments will read "0" zero dollars. Shortly after the order is placed, you will receive an email from sales@toytokyo.com which will present you with the applicable shipping quotes for your international order along with any important information and details you need to be aware of. We do not charge any more than we ourselves are charged by our services, including absolutely no handling fees. Upon receiving that email, our customers are asked to respond to it with their choice of shipping, so we ask that the email address you provide in your order be one you check frequently. Our customers are not obligated to continue with their order after they receive a set of shipping quotes that they deem unsatisfactory. We will not charge or ship your order without your expressed choice confirmed to us. Once you reply to the shipping quote with your choice, the package will leave us on the next available pick-up day by the service you chose, which can be from same day to 3 days. Usually shipments take about 5 business days to reach our customers from it's day of departure, excluding the weekend. Toy Tokyo cannot be held responsible for any duties or taxes imposed on your package once it leaves the United States. Please be aware of this, and safegaurd against any uncalculated fees by contacting your local delivery providers for their regulations and tax procedures.

Toy Tokyo is NOT responsible for ANY Customs or Brokerage Fees and Taxes.

Regarding Inventory:

ToyTokyo stocks an inventory of thousands of unique items from every possible classification of collectibles. We do our best to keep things up to date, but without real time inventory tracking, this is almost impossible. The transition to our new fulfillment center helps due to the fact that we have consolidated much of our inventory at a central location, but we have a lot more work to do in order to get it streamlined. Long time users of ToyTokyo.com are familiar with these issues, and we are happy to say that in our new location we can finally begin to address these issues. It was logistically impossible for this to happen while we were at our previous location. In the coming months, ToyTokyo Online will continue to work towards an inventory solution that will help insure that items listed online are in stock, but during this transition we appreciate your extended patience and continued support. Returns:

Customers will have 10 days from the date of shipment of goods to contact us via phone or e-mail regarding defective or damaged items. Toy Tokyo will do our very best to replace the item at the customer's request. If an item is out of stock the customer will be give the choice of backordering the item (if possible) or receiving a refund for the cost of the product and shipping. If a replacement item is available, Toy Tokyo will ship the replacement and refund the cost of return shipping, at no cost to the customer, as soon as the defective item is returned to us.

If more than 10 days have elapsed from the day of shipment, Toy Tokyo will no longer be responsible for any damage or defectiveness for products. Special exceptions may be allowed under extenuating circumstances and these situations will be taken into consideration by the staff and ownership of Toy Tokyo. We strongly recommend contacting us as soon as possible if you have a problem with a product or service that we offer, and we suggest you do it within 10 days of placing your order whenever possible.
